Advancing The Cause Of
Women in Film

COMMUNITY x COLLABORATION x OPPORTUNITY

The mission of the Los Angeles Women’s Film Collective is to empower women working across all film-making disciplines. We want to radically invigorate the industry by cultivating a powerful community, inspiring collaborations, and fostering opportunities with one another.

Founded by Actress/Filmmaker Leonora Pitts, Producer Ali Sandler, and Filmmaker/Artist Maria White, the Los Angeles Women's Film Collective is committed to fostering relationships with women across all disciplines in the film industry.

As the group grows, we will host seminars, mixers, and screenings. We are planning on obtaining 501c3 status with an eye toward helping more women navigate the industry, gain footing and funding, and cultivating collaborations.

This collective comprises some of the most talented, tenacious, and forward-thinking filmmakers I have ever known.
